Salary is commensurate with experienceOur Hatboro based client provides a variety of industries, including defense, with high-quality nonferrous metals in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. Their product meets commercial military specifications and they are ISO 9001:2008, MIKL-I-454208A and EB2678L certified. They are looking for a Military/Defense Outside Sales Person.
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for nurturing existing customer relationships and reigniting relationships with dormant clients through outbound calling. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for sales and metals industry knowledge.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication
• Conduct outbound calls to dormant potential customers to generate new business leads
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services
• Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas on a regular basis
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for business development
• Utilize CRM software to track and manage customer interactions and sales activities
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and competitors
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in inside sales in the metals industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Technical sales knowledge is highly desirable
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
