National Sales Manager (Designate)

Our Houston-based client, the #1 hardwood entry door company in the country is in need of a National Sales Director to help manage its sales team. Responsible for several product lines and brands, the successful candidate should have a proven track record managing a successful national sales force.

**Must have experience working with national home builders and building material suppliers.**

Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day sales operations
• Forecast, set, monitor and meet sales goals
• Manage reporting of sales forecasts, results and market dynamics
• Identify and drive best practices to develop strategies to maximize revenue opportunity with existing customer base
• Mentor, develop and enhance sales teams to their full potential
• Identify at-risk accounts and develop appropriate retention plans within each region
• Maintain and develop new market expansion in the US for national chain accounts in the homebuilding industry
• Interact with customers to establish a clear understanding of their business needs and to maintain strong relationships, coordinate resolution of customer issues and manage customer satisfaction

Qualifications:
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in managing a national sales force
• Experience in the home building and/or door industry
• CRM familiarity
• Strong computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to motivate, inspire and lead a professional sales team
• Strong English written and verbal communication required, French an asset

Compensation:
• Salary: commensurate with experience
