Marketing Manager – Retrofit Lighting

Our Brooklyn based client is a New York City based industry leading services provider for wholesale lighting distribution, turn-key lighting retrofits, building controls, UV air and lighting disinfection, electric vehicle charging station infrastructure and maintenance. They work with commercial, industrial, retail, healthcare, schools, and portfolio real estate clients to design, develop, and implement energy conservation projects.

As the Marketing Manager, you will provide direction, guidance and leadership to all marketing activities. You will lead the development an overall marketing plan and build brand awareness.
• Aggregate and synthesize the existing marketing activities and collateral into a coherent and cohesive marketing plan, ensuring effective strategies across all media.
• Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that create awareness of the company’s business activities and strengthen the company brand.
• Create a brand identity that promotes their service offering.
• Prepare effective marketing campaigns based on market research and needs of the company.

• Strong project management skills from conceptualization, driving alignment, managing deadlines, analyzing results and delivering recommendations.
• Previous experience in a multi-channel marketing environment (email, social media, digital, print, etc.).
• Experience in campaign development and execution, positioning, branding, and creative messaging.
• Strong quantitative analytical ability and excellent written and oral communication skills, including executive presentations and up to C-level.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to develop creative/non-traditional solutions for challenging, undefined problems.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and apply problem-solving skills to business and technical challenges.

What You Need to be Eligible
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) degree in marketing, a related field or equivalent experience. Master’s degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of marketing experience with a proven track record of planning and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
