Recruiting For Less – Our client, a fast-growing manufacturing company in the Niagara Falls region is looking for an Inside Sales Lighting Professional to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quotes and sales support to our customers via email, chat line, and phone. They will be a team player with a demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and meet key deadlines in a positive and professional.

Responsibilities:
The ability to drive and influence specifications at the consulting, engineering, developer and property management level for our complete offering of lighting fixtures
Must support territory and sales teams needs while executing lighting plans jointly formulated by lighting sales manager
Provide product demonstrations for specifiers, contractors, and distributors
Manage and maintain lighting inventories as required by understanding customers’ needs, challenges and technology along with manufacturer updates
Develop long term relationships with lighting manufacturers and customers in a professional manner
Participate in trade shows and manufacturers events
Ensure follow-up by passing leads to sales agents with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, and support them in the sales process
Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers via telephone and email
Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales
Emphasize product/service features and benefits and quote prices
Coordinate customer training as necessary
Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database
Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues
Become aware of manufacturing competitors and their products
Qualifications:

Experience in the lighting industry is mandatory – applicants not meeting this criteria will not be considered
3-5 years commercial and industrial market segment experience, experience in sales an asset
Expertise in lighting, electrical and design with project management skills
Excellent oral, written and verbal presentation skills
Good software skills, including MS Office
Ability to understand customer needs and requirements
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
