Recruiting For Less – Our Nashua based client is an award-winning residential and commercial technology integration firm. Their work graces over 2.5 million square feet of some of the finest homes, offices and public buildings throughout the Northeast, all along the Eastern Seaboard down to Florida and in the Caribbean. Their system design and products include AV Systems, Lighting Control, Computer Networking, Structured Wiring, Distributed Audio Systems, Phone Systems, HVAC Integration, Shades, as well as intuitive Control Systems.

They are looking for a Purchasing/Facilities Coordinator. This position oversees the flow of supplies/material to job sites, as well as manages facilities maintenance both strategically and operationally. Strategic operation refers to planning and coordinating repairs and down time for the facilities. Operational is to ensure corporate and regulatory compliance plus the proper operation of all aspects of a building to create an optimal, safe and cost-effective environment for the occupants to function.

Work Hours: Mon – Fri 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
The overall percentage of the time will be spent in the NH office with extremely limited duties in the Waltham, MA office.

Responsibilities:
• Complete all data entry for purchase orders, RMAs, new items, service items, into the inventory management system.
• Maintain all service items and enter all work order data.
• Work with Operations and Production Managers to manage schedule and work orders for the Technicians.
• Provide installation support in the field, where and when applicable.
• Occupational safety: Control and manage many safety related issues.
• Fire safety: Maintain maintenance, inspection and testing for all of the fire safety equipment and systems, keeping records and certificates of compliance.
• Maintain maintenance, testing and inspection schedules to ensure the facility is operating safely and efficiently, to maximize the life of equipment and reduce the risk of failure.
• Cleaning, landscaping and Snow removal. While the company has vendors responsible for these tasks after business hours, the employee may be required to assist during normal business hours e.g. replenishing consumables (toilet rolls, soap, etc.) plus litter picking and reactive response.
• Operations management. The employee has responsibilities for the day-to-day running of the building, these tasks may be outsourced or carried out by directly employed staff and/or the employee them self.
• This organization should have in place a continuity plan so that in the event of a fire or major failure the business operations can recover quickly.
• Tenant allocation and changes. Assisting with tenant obligation and requests when dealing with leases.

Skills:
• Post-secondary training
• Strong computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Attention to detail
• This position requires the ability to work with others and develop a professional attitude within the team.
