Recruiting For Less – Our Fond du Lac based client is an industry leader in the Packaging Sector. They are looking for a Quality/Compliance Manager to their team.
Position Summary: The Quality/Compliance Manager will provide audit functions of product and processes. They will gather and analyze data that will help drive the continuous improvement activities of QPI. This position will supervise the Quality department personnel.

Essential Functions:
• Responsible for ISO 9001:2015/AIB/OSHA audits
• New Product First Article Inspection and PPAP process
• Bills of Material, Routings/Process Sheets, defect limit samples, and in-process inspection/test methods
• Raw Material Receiving Inspection
• Supplier Assessment and Development
• Inspection, measuring and test equipment selection, maintenance, and calibration
• Support other departments with continuous Improvement, supplier quality issues, customer returns, disposition of non-conforming product, and corrective actions
• Coach and develop Quality Technicians. Define roles and responsibilities. Determine human and capital resource needs. Cross-train to minimize organizational risk.
• Conduct audits of product critical features per design and customer specifications to insure compliance to said critical features.
• Conduct audits of QPI processes to insure compliance to the quality system
• Maintain Spec Packs as required per product design and process changes
• Responsible to perform and complete an 8D
• Ability to create systems, processes, and forms that are compatible with ISO/AIB program
• Ability to supervise employees over multiple shifts, 7 days a week
• Competent to read CAD drawings and understand standard measurements and metric
• Proficient in enforcing OSHA guidelines
• Responsible for meeting and maintaining compliance and regulatory certificates.
• Responsible for Safety by conducting safety committee meetings while proactively creating a safe work environment by completing safety walks, and facilitating effective weekly safety meetings with all direct reports.

Experience and Educational Requirements:
• Minimum of Bachelors Degree (Industrial/Engineering/Quality) and/or 5 years experience in Quality Management role
• Must be HACCP certified
• Thorough knowledge of PPAP requirements, Lean Manufacturing concepts, and blueprint reading
• Desire and ability to contribute as a manager and a doer
• Fluency in ISO 9001:2015 and lead auditor experience
• Successful track record of working cross-functionally
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Supervisory experience
• Ability to organize, prioritize and maintain multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Strong computer skills and ability to create and interpret spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations

Core Hours: 7:30 – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday Hours are subject to change based on customers demands.
Compensation: $70,000 – $75,000 based on experience, vacation, benefits
