Project Manager – Order to Cash (Food Processing Equipment Manufacturing)

Our Markham based client, designs and manufactures large, complex thermal food processing equipment for a global client base. They are looking for a Manufacturing Project Manager to manage the order to fulfilment process, i.e. track production, assembly, delivery, installation and commissioning of equipment.

This role will be responsible for overseeing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are completed within the given timeframe and budget. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to interact with various departments including sales, engineering, operations, and manufacturing, as well as external third-party vendors.

Responsibilities:
• Assume responsibility for existing ongoing projects (pre and/or after sales)
• Coordinate with different departments to ensure timely delivery of projects
• Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Assist in the scheduling and factory loading discussions
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans
• Ensure that all project objectives are met, including quality standards, delivery timelines, and budget constraints
• Final reporting on variances on standard production costs/budget cost
• KPI reporting
• Liaise with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are managed
• Prepare regular project status reports for the management team
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Global Code of Business Principles, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Operational Framework

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
• 3+ years project management experience
• Expertise in project management, preferably in a technical or engineering environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with various departments
• Ability to collaborate with design, production and engineering teams to determine how products and services could be made or modified to suit customer needs
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Experience with project management tools and software
• Knowledge of the of liquid foods market and Fruit Juice industry is a plus
• Knowledge of process equipment of Refrigeration equipment is a plus
• Ability to identify issue/roadblocks and be proactive in development of solutions
• Excellent organizational skills
• Maintain CRM (ZOHO) and reports
