Recruiting For Less – – Our client, a top ranked 3PL, is looking for a Fleet Supervisor to join their Clewiston FL team.

The Fleet Supervisor will play a pivotal role and is responsibilities for selecting and maintaining equipment in order to keep deliveries and distributions on schedule and within the established time frame. Oversee all aspects of the terminal depot equipment which includes: documenting maintenance issues and ensuring compliance with company policies and DOT and OSHA rules regulations. Maximize equipment utility, customer satisfaction and operational profitability.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Fleet Supervisor needs to manage cross-functional activities on assets between Supply Chain, Operations and Maintenance.
• He/She will need to coordinate the fleet in line with customer demand and equipment performance
• Fleet Supervisor are responsible for impeccable records.
• Keep records to see that the fleet (Yard Dogs, Chassis, Tanks and Trucks) is in compliance with all state and federal regulations. Registration, permits, etc.
• Implement and track maintenance schedule for all moving assets (tanks, chassis, trucks, etc).
• Coordination with Maintenance and Operations that each unit and is kept in peak operating condition
• Monitor and track GPS, Carloc data and temperatures on assets,
• Track and provide troubleshooting assistance for all temperature controlled containers in transit.
• Track and maintenance history to identify common issues and patterns.
• Follow up on repairs on out of service equipment to get all assets operational.
• Develop adequate performance measurement system, (KPI’s) on fleet performance

Qualifications and Key Skills:
• Must have strong computer skills including MS Office
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize workload in a multi task environment.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and motivate to get necessary information
• Must have strong problem solving skills
• Team player
• Excellent people and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers by providing accurate, meaningful, courteous and timely responses to their questions or concerns.
• Proven ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple critical projects simultaneously.

• Works effectively with Customer, vendor and company personnel within all organizational levels.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
