Web Developer / Client Relationship Manager
Do you have the skills to write the code and the disposition to work directly with clients? Working for this fast growing, entrepreneurial digital marketing agency your web development expertise will be continually challenged and developed as you support a portfolio of clients across various industries. At the same time your customer service experience will be called upon to interact with clients and meet their needs.
Starting out with task specific responsibilities and some customer interface, this role will grow into a complete project ownership and client relationship management position.

Responsibilities:
- Designing websites and content
- Working with sales to help quote maintenance times
- Interacting with clients about website changes and enhancements
- Provide reports to clients/project manager on progress and completion
- Ensuring cross-browser compatibility while following web standards (including W3 compliance)
- Seeking out new technologies that will improve product development and website functionality
Qualifications and Requirements:
- HTML 5 / XHTML, CSS 2/3, PHP 5, jQuery & Javascript
- 2-3 years experience in similar role
Familiar with:
- MyPHP Admin / MySQL Databases
- WordPress, Joomla and Magento (open source systems)
- Adobe CS4/5 Suite (Dreamweaver/Photoshop/ mainly)
Bonus Skills:
- Adobe Flash and animation skills; Adobe Illustrator and Vector Graphics
- Graphic and Creative skills
- Experience with; Search Engine Best Practices, Mobile Compliance, Google Analytics setup
Hours – Regular business hours with busy periods based on client needs
Location – Ability and computer equipment to work remotely with some office time in Markham/Thornhill
Salary – Commensurate with experience, up to $45,000
