Manufacturing Engineer – Rotary Pressure Vessels

 Our Markham based client, a leading provider of industrial refrigeration engineering design and systems integration is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team. They are a growing company that produces equipment for thermal processing for many applications and industries, including; green energy, thermal storage, and food processing applications.
As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will be involved in the production of rotary pressure vessels.
Requirements:
•	Review ASME and CE requirements for pressure vessels and welding.
•	Production planning and scheduling – This role oversees each unit fabricated
•	Pressure vessel welding (experience and understanding to discuss improvements and issues)
•	Experience with machining.
•	Able to communicate to vendors on design issues, QC concerns, improvements, rework
•	Quality Control: will be responsible for the QC system including; overseeing inspections, documentations and reporting
•	Production supervision from a engineering /technical perspective
•	Certifications – pressure vessel, ASME and PED, Welding etc.

Minimum requirements:
•	Engineering Diploma or Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution fa
•	5+ years’ experience working with SolidWorks.
•	5+ years’ experience designing and detailing mechanical equipment
•	Experience with design and production of rotating mechanical equipment
•	Experience with welded assemblies
•	Knowledge of machining is an asset.
•	Understanding of manufacturing, machining, welding processes.
•	Knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and procedures.
