Licenses & Service Renewals Manager – MSP High-Performance Computing

Our Houston-based client, a leading high-performance computing services provider is looking for a Licenses & Service Renewals Manager.  The solutions being sold include managed services and hardware in the HPC industry.  The target customers are primarily senior managers of research / engineering teams or IT.

The main responsibilities are:

  • Ownership of the Renewals Sales Cycle
  • The shepherding of prospects through the sales stages with high quality and timeliness.

The successful candidate will possess excellent skills with sales tools, relationship building and consultative selling. They must have the ability to learn new solutions quickly and be able to present them with credibility and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and analyze customer needs from new opportunities or renewals
  • Match the requirements to the correct services and products
  • Generate high quality, timely quotes and other paperwork for prospects
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with new and existing clients
  • Team with channel partners to build the pipeline and close deals
  • Demonstrate technical, competitive, and sales skills aptitude and knowledge
  • Provide regular reports on account/opportunity progress and status

Requirements

  • 5 years supporting sales in IT managed or consulting services
  • Detail oriented and able to deliver orders and associated collateral with speed and high quality
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office productivity/collaboration technologies
  • Excellent listening and follow up abilities
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications
  • Good presentation skills to prospects and customers
  • Process oriented and quality focused
  • Degree in Computer Science, Marketing a plus.

Compensation: Base plus Bonus Targets and Commission, Benefits
