Recruiting For Less – Our client, an East LA food manufacturing plant, is looking for a bilingual Customer Support Specialist.  This role interacts with customers to determine their needs and food orders in a friendly, business-like fashion.

Responsibilities:

Reports directly to the Director of Purchasing and includes these accountabilities:

  • Process and invoice customer orders
  • Process customer document requests
  • Reconcile monthly inventory
  • Quote pricing for new and existing customers
  • Coordinate trade shows
  • Create sales reports and updates.
  • Uphold and maintain good customer service to current and new customers.

Skills:

  • Demonstrate Interpersonal skills, focusing on problem solving and maintain confidentiality.
  • Must possess excellent oral communication skills.
  • Must possess excellent written communication skills with the ability to write routine reports and correspondences.
  • Must meet productivity standards and complete work in a timely manner, striving to increase productivity.
  • Computer skills including, but not limited to: Microsoft Excel and word and basic office equipment.
  •  Must possess mathematical skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. In addition, the ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Minimum education of high school diploma, with a minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience.

Compensation:

  • 35-45K, 2 weeks’ vacation, benefits
