Accounting Manager

Our Brooklyn based client, is a leading integrator of commercial solar electric systems throughout the Northeast. They are looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee their finances as they grow from small/midsize to a larger player in the industry.

Responsibilities:
• Accounts Payable, Procurement Oversight & Vendor Management
• Insurance Management
• Financial Reporting
• Sales & Use Tax Compliance
• Subcontractor Management Support
• Maintain organized system of all accounts, statements, transactions, payments, and debts
• Advise on quarterly/annual budgets and forecasts
Job Requirements:
• 3+ years’ experience in a financial controllership role in the construction sector
• Experience with Accounting Software (Vista and Quickbooks pref)
• Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations
• Attention to detail
• Willingness and ability to learn and grow to meet the changing requirements of the job
