Accounting Assistant/Office Admin

Our client, a leading Mechanical and Construction company in New Jersey is looking for an Accounting Assistant/Office Admin to join their team.
Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am – 5pm

Responsibilities:
• Report directly to the Controller
• Responsible for daily bookkeeping tasks
• Data entry of work orders, purchase orders, invoices etc.
• Question discrepancies and resolve problems as they arise
• Manage financial documents, filing and other administrative tasks
• Support the RFI process and other project management duties
• Maintain office supplies, copy paper, stationary items, kitchen supplies
• Ensure the office setting is organized, neat, safe, and orderly

Qualifications:
• 3-5 years admin/bookkeeping experience in the construction sector
• Looking for someone who wants to grow and learn
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the company
• Must be comfortable working with Quickbooks, Procore (preferred)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Salary: 40-60k, Benefits
