Recruiting For Less – – Our central Toronto accounting firm client, has expanded their service offering to include in–house accounting services. This service entails them taking over the entire accounting/bookkeeping function of their client. They are looking for an experienced (7+ years), customer oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper to join their team in the role of Account Manager – In-House Client Services.
Responsibilities:
The purpose of this role is to conduct a gap analysis on the existing accounting process of a new client, ascertain the viability of their accounting system and processes and then develop the go forward accounting solution to be implemented/project managed by the Account Manager.
This role will be the face of the firm for all in-house service clients and will conduct ongoing relationship management to ensure a smooth transition to the new system and resolve any future issues.
The Account Manager will manage a team, the size of which will be dependent upon the number of in- house clients.
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of accounting experience industry/public
• QuickBooks proficiency
• A positive attitude towards teamwork and strong relational skills
• Professionalism and ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills, ability to establish & manage priorities with a drive to complete assigned tasks
Compensation
• Salary: 50k plus 15% of the in-house services sales revenue (in a few years this role could be making 150k+)
• Vacation: 2 weeks
