Company Accountant

Our Tampa based client, is a distributor of passive and active electronics components. They are in need of a Company Accountant to be responsible for the general full-cycle accounting duties and inventory control.

Responsibilities:
• Monthly account reconciliations and closing journal entries
• Prepare financial reports, statements, analysis and maintain financial schedules and statistical data
• Collection of accounts receivable and payable, including entry of receipts, bank deposits and solving discrepancies on accounts and invoices
• Entry of all financial transactions, posting, journal entries, adjustment, Trial Balances and monthly financials
• Manage ongoing expenses, cash flows and budgets by reconciling expenses, reviewing and analyzing of financial results
• HST filings, tax returns, filing remittances, HST, EI, WSIB
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in accounting in a retail/wholesale environment
• Inventory accounting experience
• Strong computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Compensation: 55-65k, Vacation, Benefits
