Bookkeeper/Admin – Manufacturing

Our North York-based client, a custom metal furniture fabricator is in need of a Bookkeeper/Admin to be responsible for the general full-cycle accounting duties and admin. The successful candidate should demonstrate maturity and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
•	Monthly account reconciliations and closing journal entries
•	Prepare financial reports, statements, analysis and maintain financial schedules and statistical data
•	Collection of accounts receivable and payable, including entry of receipts, bank deposits and solving discrepancies on accounts and invoices
•	Entry of all financial transactions, posting, journal entries, adjustment, Trial Balances and monthly financials
•	HST filings, tax returns, filing remittances, HST, EI, WSIB
Qualifications:
•	Minimum 5+ years’ experience in accounting in a manufacturing setting
•	University/College degree required, CGA designated
•	Strong computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Simply Accounting/Sage
•	Experience with purchasing/procurement an asset
•	Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
•	Able to adapt to new processes and systems, eager to learn
