Office Manager – Property Management

Our Toronto-based client, an established property management firm is in need of an Office Manager to guide and direct business operations. The successful candidate should demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication skills, strong professionalism and maturity.

Responsibilities:
• Implement best practices wherever possible
• Develop/train/coach existing office staff
• Full cycle bookkeeping (A/R, A/P, GL, payroll and remittances, bank reconciliations, invoicing, cheque runs)
• Preparing financial statements and reports
• Manage phone and email communications internally and externally, act as the face of the company
• Liaise with staff, property managers, superintendents. Manage onsite superintendents for building maintenance initiatives
• Tenant file and lease management, maintain records of contractual obligations
• Preparation of legal forms (N1, N4, N5, etc)
• Work order processing and general office management

Qualifications:
• Minimum 3+ years’ property management office experience
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in property management accounting & administration
• University/College degree preferred
• Strong computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), QuickBooks, ACCPAC, Simply Accounting, Yardi, Rentmagic• Knowledge and understanding of the Landlord and Tenant Board, Residential Tenancy Act

Compensation:

• Salary: commensurate with experience
• Vacation: 2 weeks
