Client Support Associate

Our Toronto-based client, a growing investment research and consulting firm is in need of a Client Support Associate to be responsible for support for all related client activities, client monthly reports, and superior all-around client experience. The successful candidate should demonstrate willingness to go above-and-beyond to provide first-class client experience, flexibility and ability work in teams.

Responsibilities:

Prep team members in advance for all client meetings/interactions, draft meeting agenda and tracking all preparation
Ensuring all data is collected and accurately inputted into spreadsheet or database within stated deadlines
Liaising and communicating with clients’ financial institutions including banks, brokers, agents and custodians
Reconciling company systems and records to third party providers as necessary
Tracking investment and capital commitments, ensuring all investment return calculations are accurate
Making changes to spreadsheets as directed by Senior Consultants
Facilitate follow-up and resolution of action items documented in the meeting notes at the client meetings, as directed by Senior Consultants
Coordinate with clients to complete trade settlements, preparation of subscription documents, capital call management, redemptions, foreign exchange, KYC, AML and other matters as directed by Senior Consultants

Qualifications:

Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a financial services environment
University/College degree preferred, CFP, CSC or Exempt Market Program
Strong computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English
Willingness to learn

Compensation:

Salary: $37,500-$43,750 commensurate with experience
Vacation: 2 weeks
