Financial Services Operations Administrator

Our Toronto-based client, a growing investment research and consulting firm is in need of an Financial Services Operations Administrator to be responsible for the executing, coordinating, and settlement of client transactions. The successful candidate should demonstrate background experience and knowledge in wealth management and financial services operations.

Responsibilities:
• Process client transactions including trade instructions, cash management, documentation, transfers and foreign exchange
• Liaise and communicate with clients’ financial institutions including banks, brokers, agents and custodians
• Reconcile company systems, databases and records to third party providers
• Facilitate with compliance documentation including HYC & AML
• Assist with monthly client reconciliation and reporting
• Various project work as directed

Qualifications:
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in operative administration in a wealth management or financial services environment
• University/College degree preferred
• Strong computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Database experience an asset
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)

Compensation:
• Salary: $38-45K commensurate with experience
• Vacation: 2 weeks
