Service Manager – Consumer Electronics

Our Toronto based client, an established import/export firm, is in need of a Service Manager to manage its dealer repair network and customer service department. Candidates must be expertly familiar with consumer electronic products and have experience in a leadership role.

Responsibilities:
• Manage product service department performance to achieve business success
• Manage/liaise consumer help lines
• Management of independent network of service contractors
• Vendor relations & parts procurement
• Display knowledge of consumer electronic products
• Lead, train and develop employees
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships to promote a positive work environment
• Communicate and enforce company policies

Qualifications:
• 3+ years relevant work experience managing a service department
• Technical knowledge of electronic consumer products
• Customer service/handling skills
• Competent with computer applications including: Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook
• Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Team builder
• Encourage, change and empowerment

Compensation:
• Salary: 60 – 75k commensurate with experience
• Vacation: 2 weeks
