Our Brampton-based client, an established product research firm is in need of a Project Manager to be responsible for leading and managing consumer product/sensory projects throughout the project life cycle and under the guidance of Sr. Project Managers and Directors. The successful candidate should demonstrate previous project management experience as well as strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
• Implement Project Management processes and systems in accordance to the Project Manager Procedures Manual
• Serve as the main contact and ensure appropriate liaison with the project client, establish and maintain effective relationships with clients
• Develop contracts, screeners and questionnaires based on project-specific design and parameters provided by the client
• Engage in weekly progress meetings with Project Managers and Kitchen Coordinator to discuss required resources, product procurement/deliveries and staffing requirements for upcoming projects
• Coordinate projects and manage Project Coordinators from satellite locations across Canada and the US, provide direction, support and motivation to project teams
• Resolve any project-related issues with appropriate team members and/or the client.
• Regularly monitor and report on progress of projects to the client as well as the Directors, update the Project Manager’s Daily Report
• Coordinate and oversee the proper execution of studies with the Kitchen Coordinator and kitchen staff
• Communicate special project details to the Recruiting, Reporting and/or Kitchen teams
• Review data and reports for spelling, grammar and accuracy before sending to the client
• Ensure the timely completion of studies, reports and project invoicing.
• Assist senior management and colleagues with supplementary duties as needed.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in project management in product development, hospitality or foodservice setting
• University/College degree required, (at least 1 statistics course)
• Strong computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), SPSS is an asset
• Excellent English communications skills (written, spoken) and customer service-oriented
• Knowledge of Experimental Design (developing screeners, questionnaires, data, reports) and Statistics
• Must own a vehicle with a valid driver’s license
• Open to flexible hours

Compensation:
• Salary: 50-55K commensurate with experience
• Vacation: 2 weeks
• Full Benefits, 3% RRSP contributions
