Recruiting For Less – Our client specialises in custom commercial industrial polymer flooring, coatings & linings, decorative flooring and wall systems. They are looking for a Chicago-based Technical Sales Rep.

The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and proactively, has experience working in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is a must, and can produce results without constant management.

Responsibilities:
Maintain customer relations and personally interact with clients daily.
Intermittent travel to multiple customer locations in the region. -receive, process, and issue construction and bid documents to clients, vendors and sub-contractors.
Populating and tracking spreadsheet data for current and past work.
Assist in scheduling, coordinating and managing work crews and material deliveries.
Working on multiple projects simultaneously and be able to re-prioritize on the fly.
Answer phone calls and email from clients and internal staff; respond appropriately to inquiries.

Qualifications:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, telephone and email management skills.
Prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, One Note, Outlook and Sage Software.
Understanding of architectural plans.
Be comfortable and efficient in working with and manipulating large spreadsheets.
Ability to prioritize daily workload and operate with a high degree of autonomy.
Highly driven, motivated and outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
Customer service-based experience and demeanor.
Ability and willingness to travel locally for site walk-throughs and sales calls.
Has a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
Construction management experience not required but is a plus.
