Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative

Our Etobicoke-based client, an established supplier of commercial fire and safety products is in need of an Inside Sales / Customer Service Rep to be responsible for the maintenance of the existing client base, the coordination of sales orders to completion, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The successful candidate should demonstrate a strong passion and enthusiasm in sales, self-motivation and always strives to achieve more.

Responsibilities:
• Support the Sales Order desk, greeting customers and inquiring about their fire and safety product needs
• Seek out sales opportunities by making outbound calls to existing client base and build rapport with clients to understand their business needs
• Update customers with latest product launches and product campaigns to ensure fire safety code and conduct are up to standard
• Maintain strong customer relationships and increase revenue by identifying new and incremental sales opportunities
• Prepare quality written communication for internal and external purposes, such as responding to customer inquiries and requests
• Ensure that all call activity information is captured, maintained and updated in the corporate database system, including customer contact information
• Prepare customer contracts/agreements, review the terms and conditions with the customer, finalize the sales contract, and monitor contracts until revenue received

Qualifications:
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in an inside sales or account management type role
• University/College degree required
• Strong computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Eager to perform and meet sales goals while providing excellent customer service
• Strong English written and verbal communication required

Compensation:
• Salary: $30 – 35K commensurate with experience
• Vacation: 2 weeks
