Head of Sales – Retrofit Lighting

Our Brooklyn based client is a New York City based industry leading services provider for wholesale lighting distribution, turn-key lighting retrofits, building controls, UV air and lighting disinfection, electric vehicle charging station infrastructure and maintenance. They work with commercial, industrial, retail, healthcare, schools, and portfolio real estate clients to design, develop, and implement energy conservation projects.
They are looking for a lighting and/or construction sector experienced sales leader to become their new Head of Sales.
What You Bring to the Team
• At least 10 years of successful lighting/construction sales and business development experience required
• Experience with a channel, affiliate or outside sales structure
• Evidence of effective management over tele-prospecting and strategic sales planning in a virtual world.
• A tech savvy individual experienced with CRM systems such as HubSpot
• Have an established system for managing client contacts, prospecting leads, setting follow-up calls, and managing strategic communications
• Capable of developing solid sales forecast using accurate reporting & analytics (pipeline strategy)
• Experience with business expansion
• Creative, tenacious, and hungry to close business
Compensation: Base plus commission 200k OTE, benefits, PTO
