Recruiting For Less – Our Nashville, TN based direct marketing client is seeking a financial Direct Response Copywriter with a track record of success writing newsletters and other investment copy to lead and develop a seasoned team of writers, art designers, editors, and creative support personnel who will consistently produce quality creative projects on-time and on-budget.

Experience: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience writing copy to support newsletters and & investment updates that sell investment products and services. Experience with financial information products and subscription marketing is required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work closely with Account Execs, writers and other Creative staff to accurately determine client needs and expectations and develop impacting copy and artwork that addresses these needs accurately and profitably.

• Manage Creative personnel and projects in-process to ensure marketing objectives are translated into clear strategies so timelines can be met and projects are delivered on-time and on-budget.

• Maintain a consistent system of project follow-up to ensure Creative staff are communicating effectively with internal departments and providing updates to Account Executive and clients.

• Stay informed of market developments in creative areas through reading, industry involvement, and research to determine competitive factors that need to be addressed internally.

Job Accountabilities:
• Tact and diplomacy in addressing all external and internal representation of our company, particularly in dealing with personnel-related issues.

• Honesty and integrity in dealing with all Creative Department and overall company issues.

• Strong planning and organization abilities ensuring rapid learning and follow-through on time-sensitive job requirements.

• Hands-on oversight of jobs in-process to ensure they are completed on-time and on-budget.

• Communicate significant work flow challenges along with alternative suggestions for solving them.
