Project Coordinator – Fire Sprinkler Systems

Our Sanford NC client, a full-service design and build fire protection company and government contractor is in need of an Operations Manager.  The Operations Manager’s primary duty is to provide leadership and oversight to ensure the successful execution of all project activity.

This role interacts with Department Heads, General Contractors, Superintendents, Property Managers and various other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of all projects as they migrate through the project lifecycle stages.

Project lifecycle:

Sourcing è Estimation / Proposal è Design / Purchasing è Installation è Clean-up

 

Responsibilities:

In conjunction with the Project Managers this role will:

  • Manage all projects according to the project specifications and serve as company liaison to the customer. This will include tracking, status reports, change orders and work schedules
  • Manage customer needs throughout the project, including walkthroughs, project meetings and training
  • Manage on-site relationship with vendors and sub-contractors ensuring scheduled deadlines, project accuracy and project budget
  • Schedule install dates with Installation Technicians
  • Provide weekly / monthly reports on the status of projects to Management, as required
  • Communicate with management regarding customer complaints that could develop into product issues, customer dissatisfaction or major product failures
  • Work with appropriate personnel to provide information to produce accurate and timely invoices and cost to complete reports
  • Requisition correct material in a timely fashion

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years fire safety construction and related project management experience required
  • Working knowledge of project management software
  • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) familiarity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Time management and organizational skills required
  • Ability to be customer service oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment

 

Compensation:

  • Salary: 55 – 65k plus bonus, Vehicle, Mobile phone, Benefits,
