Estimator – Building Envelope / Cladding

Our Etobicoke-based client, a manufacturer and contractor of exterior construction materials is in need of a Estimator required for metal cladding, aluminum plate, composite panels and insulated metal panel systems.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the complete bid process from initial review of contract documents and specifications to project award
• Identify any potential risk factors within the contract
• Complete full quantity take-offs for labour, equipment and materials required to complete the project as per contract specifications to ensure accuracy of pricing
• Establish completion timelines in order to meet the contract completion dates
• Send out subcontract tenders and RFP’s for supplier pricing for labour, plant and materials,
• Completes final cost estimate of a project and produces a final tender submission
• Prepares final tender documents for submission to client
• Review the project budget, schedule, and project execution plan and identify any potential risks prior to the project starting and throughout its life cycle
• Ability to work on simultaneous bids

Qualifications:
• Five years of experience working with reputed developers, general contractors and construction management firms with a strong track record of successfully estimating and securing projects
• Direct expertise in High Rise Residential and Commercial / Retail projects
• Will have a tract record of accurately estimating

• Salary: commensurate with experience
