Equipment Field Tech – Gas Certified

Our Markham based client, a leading provider of industrial refrigeration engineering design and systems integration is looking for a Field Technician to join their growing team.

They are a growing company that produces equipment for thermal processing for many applications and industries, including; green energy, thermal storage, and food processing applications. As a Field Technician, you will install and service their equipment and troubleshooting issues.

This role travels throughout Canada, the US, Mexico and Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment with minimal supervision.
• Inspect the equipment and their components to ensure safety and identify necessary repairs and provide an ongoing program of preventive maintenance

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in refrigeration industrial equipment maintenance
• G3 License
• Millwright (433A) or Electrician (309A,309C or 442A) would be an asset but not essential.
• Must be able to read both Mechanical and Electrical Drawings.
• Must be proficient in Word and Excel documents creation and editing.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to obtain visa for travel purposes outside Canada.
• Valid driver’s licence, maintain a clean driving record and be willing to provide driver’s abstract
