Recruiting For Less – Our Etobicoke-based client, a manufacturer and contractor of metal cladding is in need of a Jr. Draftsperson to be responsible for designing and developing 3D drawings in Revit and Autocad.
This role is open to recent grads with minimal work experience that have completed Architectural Technology Diploma programs
Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare engineering designs and drawings of metal construction materials in Solidworks
- Interact with engineering team to understand project requirements (schedule and budgets)
- Write technical reports and specifications
- Complete documentation packages and drawing sets
- Examine drawings for conformity and errors
- Liaise with clients and subcontractors to obtain project information and discuss design related issues
- Develop and maintain modelling/drafting standards
Qualifications:
- University/College degree – Architectural Technology Diploma
- Strong computer proficiency in Revit, Autocad, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Attention to detail
Compensation:
- $40,000
- Vacation: 2 weeks
