Our client, a leading land surveying firm looking for full time personnel to expand our field division. They are looking for a Land Surveyor (Crew Chief & Instrument Man) to join their growing team.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years land survey experience
Ability to listen to and communicate with survey project managers and clients
Ability to take detailed notes and manage survey projects
Ability to manage crew schedules and train crew members
Have an understanding of mathematical concepts including geometry and trig
Have expertise with total stations, data collectors and GPS equipment (Trimble preferred)
Be capable of working outdoors and walking or standing for extended periods of time
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must have a valid Illinois driver’s license
Some overtime required
