Our Boston MA based client provides enterprise-class dynamic imaging solutions to online retailers, web-to-print vendors and custom product manufacturers. Via the automation of such production burdens as image scaling, format conversion and file compression, they enable users to dramatically reduce time spent on image creation.
They are searching for a business savvy, digital imaging technology guru to oversee their Professional Services Group. The Professional Services Group provides consulting, image production services, training and staff support to clients.
Reporting to the CEO, this position is responsible for new business development, client management, project execution, and overall P&L for the Professional Services business.
Responsibilities:
Become an expert on their imaging software suite
Analyze customer needs, develop proposals, negotiate schedules, close business
Manage, contribute to, and deliver projects
Generate business in new accounts and upsell existing accounts
Lead an internal team and understand their individual capabilities
Coordinate large customer projects utilizing external partners
Maintain business data and provide weekly forecasts and ongoing results to executive management
Assisting Sales in closing deals through larger scale engagements involving Professional Services Proposals
Qualifications:
Minimum five years project management and/or billable-consulting experience
Experience managing internal and external resources
Expert proficiency with digital imaging technologies and software
Understanding of image manipulation, vector graphics, typography (familiarity with 3D imaging a plus)
Experience presenting proposals and solution demonstrations to prospects ranging from Director-level to the C-suite
Excellent communication, negotiating, and documentation skills (i.e. proposals, statements of work, project updates)
Understanding of how the Internet works
Experience in the e-commerce industry a plus
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required
