Recruiting For Less – Our Cleveland accounting firm client is looking for an Auditor to join their team. Our client is a strong believer in the work/life balance and offers industry competitive pay for below industry average work hours. This role will perform review engagements, assist on audits, prepare compilations and write-ups, and prepare basic business and individual tax returns

Responsibilities:

Assist on client engagements
Identify problem areas and client issues and propose solutions to managers and partners.
Effectively wrap-up audit engagements
Supervise, train, and mentor associates in audit and review process
Prepare basic business and individual tax returns
Be aware of developments, pronouncements and research technical issues.
Identify technical skills needed for improvement and improve through CPE, personal commitment and on-the-job training.
Be proficient in use of computers and become proficient with paperless audit software
Qualifications:

5-7 years of public accounting experience – audit, tax, and general accounting
Excellent communication skills – both oral and written
Strong work ethic
A professional demeanor
Attention to detail and quality
The ability to attain goals and meet responsibilities
The desire and ability to mentor the younger staff members
Compensation:

Commensurate with experience
