Sr. Accountant – Public Accounting

Recruiting For Less – Our north Toronto public accounting firm client is looking for a Senior Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and supporting working papers
• Prepare corporate and personal tax returns
• Supervise junior staff
• Respond to various queries and requests from clients
• Ensure ASPE is being adhered to appropriately

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of recent Canadian Public Accounting experience
• Good working knowledge of Tax Prep and Caseware/Caseview
• Strong Canadian ASPE knowledge and financial statement disclosure
• Strong financial acumen and analytical agility
• Detail oriented, organized and able to meet tight deadlines
• Self-motivated, results driven, prefers to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Salary: to 70k, commensurate with experience
