Recruiting For Less – Our North York client is machine shop providing machining expertise to a variety of industries. They are looking for a highly skilled CNC lathe/turning machinist who can efficiently set up, program and operate lathes. The successful candidate would be expected to lead the turning division within the short to medium term.
Our client is conveniently located in Toronto near public transit, including the newly opened York University subway station. We have been operating in this location for over 30 years. Our 10,000 square foot facility boasts 4 CNC lathes, 4 CNC milling machines and several manual machines.
Job Requirements:
• Must have at least 10 years’ experience operating, setting up and programming CNC lathes
• Must be an expert in the trade
• Must be able to work independently and assist other lathe operators
Beneficial Skills (Not Requirements):
• Manual G-code programming
• Experience with Okuma CNC machinery
• Manual lathe experience
Compensation:
• $35 or more per hour, Overtime, Bonus
