Loan Servicing Specialist

Our Toronto-based client, an auto finance company is in need of a Loan Servicing Specialist to be responsible for providing customer service to borrowers regarding their loan. The successful candidate should demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with experience in a call centre environment.

Responsibilities:
• Act as the first point of contact between the company and its customers and respond to inquiries
• Attend to incoming phone calls and address questions and concerns involving customers’ loans
• Troubleshoot any issues surrounding customer account and balance
• Follow up with customers by phone and/or email to remind or update customer’s on their balance

Qualifications:
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in customer service and call centre environment for a finance or lending company
• University/College degree preferred
• Strong computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Loan Servicing Software (Omega) an asset
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal)
• Professional phone mannerisms

Compensation:

• Salary: $38-45K commensurate with experience
• Vacation: 2 weeks
