Our Downtown Toronto-based client, a worldwide manufacturer and supplier of roofing products is in need of a Manufacturing Clerk to assist the Production Superintendent and Operations Manager in day-to-day objectives and tasks, and providing support to the purchasing department. The successful candidate should demonstrate strong computer proficiency, adaptability and quick-learning, and works as a team-player.

Responsibilities:
• Accurate and timely data entry of daily and weekly production
• Provide weekly, monthly production reports as required. (KPI’s, Commissions, Volume, manufacturing activities, etc.)
• Assists the plant with administration duties
• Schedule, confirm and adjust purchase orders and ensure proper set up in ERP.
• Communicate with Vendors to get Quotes on MRO Parts
• Receiving of stock, create & maintain BOMS
• Resolve discrepancies in vendor invoices, approve all price variations and ensure proper costing or product by liaising with vendors and clients

Qualifications:
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role or an administrative role in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in purchasing, sourcing, procurement
• University/College degree preferred
• Strong computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), experience with an ERP, technically savvy
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written)
• Quick-learner, team-player

Compensation:
• Salary: $35-37K commensurate with experience
• Vacation: 2 weeks
