Responsibilities include:
• Complete plumbing cost estimates for new projects.
• Identifying labor, material and time requirements.
• Estimate equipment and manpower required to accomplish each project.
• Obtain and manage material quotes for estimates and ongoing projects.
• Prepare complete bid proposals for projects.
• Ensure effective communication with clients and timely submission of bid proposals.
• Follow up on submitted bid proposals with clients and communicate feedback to upper management.
• Manage and maintain relationships with material vendors.
• Prepare job start up packages complete with final estimating files and construction drawings set.
• Prepare change order estimates for active projects as requested by project managers.
• Manage multiple bid estimates and maintain bid files and drawings.
• Perform historical cost vs estimate comparison analysis for various projects.
• Verify, manage, and approve vendor invoices.
