Our north Toronto client, a provider of communications, life safety and security systems to the retirement residence and care facility sector is in need of a Project Manager. The Project Manager’s primary duty is to manage installation projects, working closely with Customers Sales, and Installation Technicians.
Responsibilities:
• Manage assigned projects according to the project specifications and serve as company liaison to the customer. This will include tracking, status reports, change orders and work schedules
• Manage customer needs throughout the project, including walkthroughs, project meetings and training
• Manage on-site relationship with vendors and sub-contractors ensuring scheduled deadlines, project accuracy and project budget
• Schedule install dates with Installation Technicians
• Provide weekly / monthly reports on the status of projects to Management, as required
• Communicate with management regarding customer complaints that could develop into product issues, customer dissatisfaction or major product failures
• Work with appropriate personnel to provide information to produce accurate and timely invoices and cost to complete reports
• Requisition correct material in a timely fashion
Qualifications
• 2 years construction related project management experience required
• Familiarity with Nurse Call / Wireless E-Call Systems, Access Control, CCTV, Sound, Intercom and Security preferred
• Working knowledge of project management software
• MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) familiarity
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Time management and organizational skills required
• Ability to be customer service oriented
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to work in a deadline driven environment
Compensation:
• Salary: commensurate with experience
• Vacation: 2 weeks
