Appliance Repair Technician

Our client, a GTA based, household appliance repair company is looking for a motivated, organized, energetic self-starter to join their growing team as an Appliance Repair Technician. Servicing the GTA, this role services and repair domestic and/or gas appliances, provide customers with courteous in-home service, in a timely, safe and damage free fashion.

Responsibilities include:
• GREAT customer service with a “can do” attitude
• Service/Repair/Test appliances such as dishwasher, refrigerators, ranges, microwave hood fans, ventilation systems and washer/dryers.
• Handling and moving heavy objects
• Operate service vehicle in a safe manner
• Follow companies field procedures and protocols.
• Build positive relationships with customers
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years experience in household appliance service/repair
• Gas2 License, experience with sealed refrigeration system
• Certifications and/or post second school training
• Positive customer focused attitude
• General handy-man type knowledge, critical thinking and problem solving on the fly
• Ability to troubleshoot

Compensation:
• Jr Technicians (3 – 5 years experience) $18 – $22/hr
• Sr. Technicians – 5 years experience $25/hr, 10+ years experience $28+/hr
• Vacation – 2 weeks after 1 year
• Health and Dental Benefits after 6 months
• Company vehicle will be provided during work hours
• Work tools will not be provided, you must provide your own
• Working hours are Monday – Friday
