Jr. Order Entry Associate – Flooring

Our client, one of Canada’s industry leaders in flooring products, is in need of a Jr. Order Entry Clerk for their Toronto location. This entry level role provides order entry support to the Sales Order Desk, as well as answers customer inquiries via phone, e-mail and in person.

Responsibilities:
• Timely and accurate entry of customer orders
• Guide customers through the purchase process via phone, e-mail and in person to ensure complete and accurate orders and optimum customer satisfaction
• Respond to customer inquiries and issues, mediate and alleviate escalations by providing detailed explanations in a professional manner.
• Input and process orders into Unix system
• Gain a thorough understanding and product knowledge on hardwood and engineered wood flooring products

Requirements:
• 2-3 years’ experience in a customer service
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, highly organized and thorough
• High technical competence, including MS Outlook, Word, Excel
• Exceptional customer service skills, high level of customer service commitment
• Fast and accurate data entry skills
• Strong ability to learn new systems and good multi-tasking skills
• Must be a positive minded, self-motivated individual
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Energetic, positive and able to work both independently and in a team

Compensation:
• Salary: 30-35k commensurate with experience
• Vacation: 2 weeks
