Our Bethesda, MD based client, a leader in automated cyberthreat detection and response is looking for a Software Engineer. This role will code, design, and implement robust, high performance software for complex cyber security products in a highly-collaborative, agile development environment.
Responsibilities
Software Engineers are sought to contribute to the software design, implementation, and verification of Fidelis Cybersecurity products. The Software Engineering Team conducts and participates in the research, design and development of product software, software applications and/or tools for Fidelis customers. Responsibilities also include enhancements, modifications and corrections to existing software.
Qualifications
Candidates must have 3 – 5 years experience in the development of software products:
- Expert knowledge of Linux including kernel development.
- Experience with C and C++ development.
- Shell Scripting and Python programming expertise.
- Requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- BSCS (or equivalent) is required; an MSCS is preferred.
Compensation:
- Salary to 90k, medical/dental benefits, 401k matching
