Our Newmarket-based client, an IT management firm providing legal litigation support is in need of an Executive Assistant / Bookkeeper. This role will work on various internally focused management requests. And where necessary may be involved in supporting client facing projects, while working in a team model.

Responsibilities:
• Perform bookkeeping and other accounting related functions (timesheet entry, invoicing, bank reconciliation, budgeting, accounts receivable and payables)
• Perform required analysis and other processes in regards to accounting tasks that may be related to the company and to client project(s).
• Generate reports for President and others on a quarterly basis.
• Support External Client projects as part of a Team completing assignments as required in performing various data analysis and data quality tasks when necessary.
• Provide administrative assistance to president and project managers especially in relation to report submissions to clients.
• Perform data entry for CRM, Client Projects, etc.
• Act as Primary Receptionist for Telephone
• Attend project meetings and assist with recording of minutes and action items

Qualifications:
• College or University graduate
• 1 to 2 years experience in administrative support role and / or a bookkeeping role.
• Confidentiality a must.
• General understanding of computers and working with data
• Must be able to work Independently with minimal supervision
• Documentation and Communication Skills a must
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of software (specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience with Quickbooks 2017
• Must be able to be in the office, opportunities to work from home after a few months of employment.
