Jr. Web Developer

Our Downtown Toronto-based client, an established B2B market research company is currently seeking to add a Jr. Web Developer to their team. This role will collaborate with Program Managers to construct seamless user interfaces for online surveys used in benchmarking studies and supporting the Information Services team. This role is primed for a skillful individual capable of translating design into compliant, pixel perfect web pages.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Program/Project Managers on an ongoing basis in the process of designing UI mock-ups to include program deliverables, report specifications and other programming requirements and reflect changes and resolution in any issues that arise
• Strive to create responsive designs and engaging web experiences
• Convert designs and prototypes into semantic HTML/CSS, identifying and resolving browser compatibility, to develop compliant, reusable and maintainable code for surveys, templates and scripts
• Contribute in continuous improvement programs by supporting the Information Services Department in survey documentation, researching emerging reporting technologies and beset practices and assess impact/use, and development of Information Services tools to enhance turnaround of deliverables
• Provide technical support to internal staff
• Assist with Data Processing and Pre-field/In-field as requested

Qualifications:
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in front-end web development, experience in Market Research an asset
• University/College degree required in computer science or related field
• In-depth, demonstrable knowledge and experience programming with HTML, JavaScript, C++, Java
• Experience with Confirmit software an asset
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal)
• Effective time management and proven ability to achieve quality and productivity goals
