Recruiting For Less – Our client, a Top ranked 3PL, is looking for a Manager Quality and Regulatory Assurance to join their Linden NJ team.
The Manager, Quality and Regulatory Assurance will provide technical leadership and ensure compliance with all governmental regulations and align with company policies and standards.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain required matrices of key measurements.
• Lead American Chemistry Council Responsible Care as RC Coordinator.
• Lead NACD Responsible Distribution program as RD Coordinator.
• Maintain Quality Management System.
• Maintain NJDEP programs including, but not limited to: Stormwater, Community Right to Know, RMP and DPCC Requirements.
• Proficient in the following:
o EPA FIFRA requirements and reporting
o FDA Pharmaceutical and Food Safety and ability to lead and meet AIB requirements
o OSHA Regulatory requirements
o Hazardous Materials regulations including Vulnerability Assessments and Security Plans
• Prepare and respond to customer inquiries for RFPs, RFIs, and final bids.
• Manage new product Risk Assessments
• Conduct Internal and External Audits as required
• Maintain the following databases:
o Drum Filling Master Matrix and filling records
o All Quality System databases
o Approved Supplier Database
• Develop and Provide training and various Team Meetings as required

Qualifications and Key Skills:

• Ideal candidate will have minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Must have experience and a firm understanding of various insurance and risk management concepts
• Experience and understanding of the overall business environment and required regulations
• Ability to identify and assess business risks and develop a regulatory strategy
• Ability to build relationships with other areas of the business, outside clients, and regulatory agencies
• Technical Expertise – The successful candidate must be technically credible and possess proven experience dealing with all aspects of product safety product safety-related regulatory requirements, and is also knowledgeable of Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs).
• Results Orientation – This person will have demonstrated that s/he takes ownership and responsibility for commitments and is able to deliver despite constraints or unexpected obstacles. You will need to be Organization, disciplined and have a sharp attention to detail.
• People Leadership & Development – The successful candidate will be a manager who is able to motivate team members. The successful candidate will show the ability to develop the competencies of the organization by acquisition of top talent and development of their team
• Strong system and PC skills (Microsoft Office Suite)

Travel:
• 5 % domestic travel
